Sculpt the tummy with PDO Threadlifts
Is your tummy looking droopy?
A PDO Thread Lift is a minimally invasive procedure to contour and sculpt the belly, lift the skin, rejuvenate the cells, increase collagen production and have a slimming effect due to the contraction of fat cells. A thread lift procedure is performed by using very thin threads or sutures in the skin to lift and firm as a cosmetic rejuvenation alternative to surgery.
What is PDO?
Polydioxanone, or PDO, is a biodegradable synthetic material that has been used in a variety of medical and cosmetic applications. The PDO material is formed into very thin threads that are inserted into the body with thin needles. The threads pull and tighten the skin, and also provide a supportive network to help hold the skin in place.
The result is an instant firmed and lifted appearance in the treatment area. The threads are then absorbed by the body during a natural hydrolysis process.
Approximately six months after they are inserted, the threads will break down, but the results will continue to last for many months afterwards due to the changes that the thread lift produces on a cellular level.
PDO is FDA-approved and is a non-allergenic and non-reactive material.
